Jess is a professional dance instructor and performer based in the Chicagoland area with over 20 years of experience across Classical ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, tap, and partner dance. She started dancing at age two and later studied dance and psychology at the University of Iowa, jumping straight into a teaching career after graduating in 2018.

Her love for partner dance quickly grew, leading her to salsa, bachata, lindy-hop, ballroom (including wedding choreography), and her true passion: West Coast Swing. As an advanced WSDC competitor, Jess travels nationwide for competitions, while sharing her skills locally to grow Chicago’s West Coast Swing community.
